Ingrediants
1 tablespoon flour 3/4 teaspoon salt dash of pepper 1 pound stew meat -- (1 to 2) 10 1/2 ounces tomato soup 1 1/4 cups water 1 onion -- (to taste) chopped 1/4 teaspoon dried basil -- crushed 4 medium potatoes -- pared and cubed 3 medium carrots -- cut in 1 inch pieces 1/4 cup dry red wine or water
Preparation
Meat can be browned or just added raw.
Mix soup, water, basil, salt, pepper and onion. Add meat, potatoes, and carrots.
Bake at 375 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or put in crockpot on high for about 6 to 8 hours.
