SAUCE: 1 ounce cream cheese 2 cups whole milk 1 lemon (juice of) 1 1/2 ounces white wine salt and white pepper CLAMS: 2 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup chopped onion 40 fresh manila clams

SAUCE: Combine sauce ingredients in a blender. Reduce in a saucepan until slightly thickened.
CLAMS: Melt butter in a large saute pan or skillet. Add onion and saute lightly. Add clams and saute until shells open fully. Add sauce to pan, heat through, and serve.
